Deborah Myers
Owner/Director of Health at Your Fingertips
Deborah Myers, Certified Acupressurist and Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner and Certified Theta Healing practitioner, is a graduate of the Acupressure Institute, Berkeley, CA and has trained under several Jin Shin Jyutsu masters. She has also studied Touch for Health, Therapeutic Touch, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Tui Na, intuitive healing, and has extensive training in women’s health issues. Her background includes degrees in sociology and psychology and careers as a counselor, mediator, and financial consultant.
After a car accident in which Deborah received major injuries, she experienced healing through acupressure, Jin Shin and acupuncture. Desiring to find out why these treatments worked when everything else had been unsuccessful, Deborah began studying both Jin Shin Jyutsu and acupressure. She now uses knowledge of the body, mind and spirit gained from her training and experience to assist others in their search for pain relief, stress reduction and healing. In her work, Deborah uses a blend of bodywork techniques which stimulate the body’s natural healing process.
In her years of working with her clients, Deborah has discovered that people who are given knowledge and tools will more easily and readily create a daily practice for health and well being. As a result, she developed Health at Your Fingertips Wellness Workshops that teach people how to improve their energy level, reduce stress, relieve pain, promote healing and be in a state of prevention and maintenance. She also teaches special topic workshops, including: “Energy for Fitness”, “Energy of Prosperity”, and “Good Health for Laser Surgery”, “Good Health for Easy Dentistry”, “Fitness and Wellness for Life…Self Help Tools for Increased Vitality and Weight Loss” and “Good Health…Increasing Clarity and Productivity”, “Vital Energy for Those in Recovery”, and “Energy Balancing for Learning Challenges “.
